FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas women’s track and field team moves up to No. 4 in the national rankings this week, as announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday. Debuting in the No. 7 spot five weeks ago, the Razorbacks have steadily climbed the rankings, landing in the No. 4 spot this week. Arkansas currently owns nine top-10 spots individually, led by Grace Heymsfield in the mile with 4:34.22 for a No. 2 overall national ranking. The No. 4 Razorbacks also boast two of the other top-10 mile runners in the nation with Stephanie Brown (4:35.86) and Dominique Scott (4:36.11) ranking No. 7 and No. 9, respectively. Regine Williams (200-meter), Tamara Myers and the distance medley team of Heymsfield, Chrishuna Williams, Scott and Brown are also among the Razorbacks ranked in the top-10. Arkansas will have the weekend off before heading to the SEC Championships in College Stations, Texas February 27 — March 1.
