Woofstock 2009 set for Baum Stadium

FAYETTEVILLE – Woofstock 2009 is set for the “Dog Pen” at Baum Stadium on Tuesday, May 12, when the No. 16 Arkansas Razorback baseball team hosts Oral Roberts at 6:35 p.m.

Woofstock provides fans an opportunity to bring their best friends, dogs, to the game as the Hog Pen beyond the left-field fence will be transformed into the “Dog Pen” for the first time.

Sponsored by Nestle Purina in association with the Benton County Humane Society those in attendance will be entertained by The Purina Incredible Dog Team before the game at various locations around the ballpark.

To be a part of this memorable day at Baum Stadium, owners must fill out an application, available at www.NWAwoofstock.com or at the entrance to the Hog Pen on Tuesday evening. No dogs will be admitted to the “Dog Pen” without a completed application and only one dog is allowed per ticket holder. Tickets for the “Dog Pen” area are $8.

3:00 p.m. “Dog Pen” opens at the ballpark for t-shirt pick-up4:30 p.m. Arrival, check in4:45 p.m. Costume contest 5:15 p.m. Costume winners announced 5:30 p.m. Incredible Diving Dogs perform 5:45 p.m. Tailgating with KIX104 and the Diving Dogs 6:10 p.m. Frisbee Dogs perform on the field 6:25 p.m. Parade around the field (costume contest winners) 6:30 p.m. First Pitch/Fetch 6:35 p.m. Game begins
