No. 1 Arkansas will host the NCAA West First Round competition next week, May 22-25, at John McDonnell Field with 29 entries for the NCAA Championships in 15 events.

Winning the 4 x 400m relay in a school record secured the SEC Outdoor championship for the Razorbacks with a six-point margin over runner-up Alabama, 110-104.

Three victories highlighted the second day of the SEC Championships for Arkansas as wins were achieved by Jack Turner (decathlon), Romaine Beckford (high jump) and Wayne Pinnock (long jump).

Day 2 Results

A big, wind-aided leap of 27 feet, 11.5 inches (8.52) earned Arkansas alum Carey McLeod a long jump victory in the Diamond League meet on Friday as he defeated 2021 Olympic and 2023 World champion Miltiadis Tentoglou of Greece.

The first day of the SEC Championships finished with the 10,000m final and Arkansas produced 14 team points with Patrick Kiprop leading the way with a silver medal performance.

Day 1 Results

The No. 5 Razorbacks contend for a fourth consecutive SEC Outdoor Championship this Thursday through Saturday as the University of Florida hosts the conference meet.

Arkansas men’s track and field has announced eight additions to its 2024 signing class, bringing its current total of new Razorbacks for the 2024-25 season to 11.

Racing at the World Relays this weekend, Arkansas alum Chris Bailey and Alexis Holmes both assisted Team USA in securing qualification for the Paris Olympic Games in the men’s and women’s 4 x 400m relays.
