Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
The University of Arkansas Athletic Department has established the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as a means of communication between the athletic department administration and the student-athletes. The purpose of the committee is to provide a forum for all student-athletes to voice and exercise opinions, issues, and concerns regarding NCAA and SEC rules, as well as all other areas that affect the student-athlete's life. SAAC's mission is to provide all student-athletes an opportunity for participation, representation, and respect through cooperation, teamwork, and mutual understanding.
SAAC goals are to:
- Generate a student-athlete voice within the athletic department
- Promote a positive student-athlete image
- Organize and participate in community service and leadership activities
- Promote and support fellow student-athletes in their athletic competitions
