Player of the Game: Quistelle Williams averaged 4.3 points per game last season, but her performance in Sunday's exhibition win showed that she is ready to become a primary scorer this season. Williams poured in 14 points in 19 minutes of action, and added a team-high six rebounds. The senior was 5-9 from the floor, and nailed both of her three point attempts.
Play of the Game: Early in the game, Sarah Watkins showed fans why she was named as a second-team All-SEC selection. After a Calli Berna steal, Watkins muscled her way to the basket for two points, and then hustled down the floor to swat away a shot on the other end. She finished the game with 10 points and four rebounds, giving the Razorbacks a physical presence underneath the basket.
Turning Point: At 14:43 of the first half, sophomore Calli Berna stroked a 3-pointer to break a 4-4 tie. The shot gave the Razorbacks the lead and started an 11-0 run that covered six minutes and 21 seconds. Freshman Dominique Wilson hit a three of her own to extend the lead to 15-4, which the Razorbacks would never relinquish.
Note of the Game: It was a strong performance from the Razorbacks defensively, suffocating the Hillcats' ball handlers. The defense forced 36 turnovers, while also holding Rogers State to just a 29.8% shooting percentage.
