Flowers Named to Second Preseason Watch List
For the second time this week, senior defensive end Trey Flowers’ name appears on a preseason watch list with Thursday’s release of the 2014 Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List by the FWAA which has named a National Defensive Player of the Year since 1993. Earlier this week, Flowers was named to the 20th annual Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List. Click HERE

76 Razorbacks Land on 2014 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll
Based on their performances in the classroom, 76 University of Arkansas student-athletes have earned a spot on the 2014 Spring Southeastern Conference (SEC) Academic Honor Roll, as announced Thursday by the league office. Of the eight Razorback program featured on the list, women’s track and field leads the way with 21 selections followed by softball with 13, men’s track and field with 11, men’s and women’s golf both tied with seven, baseball and men’s tennis both tied with six and women’s tennis with five. Let the Title Defense Begin
After the first round of the 2014 RICOH Women’s British Open, former Razorback Stacy Lewis is tied for sixth place with a one-under 71 and is three shots off the lead entering Friday’s round. Lewis is the defending British Open champion and is looking to become just the third player to win back-to-back British titles. Play continues through the weekend and fans can watch live on ESPN Friday at 9 a.m.-noon and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m.-noon. Check out the LEADERBOARD
Show Off Your #SummerHogCall
Starting last Tuesday and running through Aug. 15, fans can post photos doing the Hog Call to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using #SummerHogCall and be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a prize pack that includes FOUR tickets to the @RazorbackFB home opener on Sept. 6. Your best shots will be featured on the official Arkansas Razorbacks social media feeds. The winner will be announced Aug. 18.
@ArkRazorbacks Coming to a Town Near You
As part of the Arkansas Razorbacks Summer Road Trip, there are three more stop planned for the month of July (see schedule below). Most recently, Razorback Athletics closed out the month of June with a trip to the 34th Annual Malvern Brickfest. During the 2014-15 season, the Road Trip is planning to visit each of the 75 counties in the state of Arkansas. Use #ArkRoadTrip on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to suggest future stops.
