2013: Nicole Schroeder showed her power in her freshman season. She was second on the team with nine homeruns and 27 walks. Her 27 walks were good for eighth on the single-season list in UA history. She had a grand-slam at Savannah State on February 20 and finished the game with six RBI. She went 3-for-3 with an RBI at then No. 4 Texas A&M on March 16. Schroeder finished the season with eight multiple-hit games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Schroeder attended Esperanza High School in Anaheim, California. She was a four year letterman and starter under head coach Ed Tunstall. Her senior year she hit .425 with nine homeruns and was first team all-sunset league, all-county, all-CIF and all-state. She ended her high school softball career with a lifetime average of .397. She is the all-time leader in triples and grand slams for the Aztecs.

PERSONAL: Born on Aug. 22, 1994. Her parents are Michael and Charlotte Schroeder. She is the youngest of four; Jennifer (25) and Katie (22), are softball players at UCLA, and Michelle (23) is a softball player at Stanford. Katie is a WCWS Champion and a US National Team member. Jennifer was a WCWS runner-up.  Nicole Schroeder majors in business at the University of Arkansas and plans to have a successful career in the business world upon graduating college. Her favorite athlete is Dustin Pedroia.
