His career average of 29.6 yards per touchdown pass is the highest in SEC history. His 7,493 career passing yards, 7,141 career total offense yards, 68 touchdowns responsible for and 62 passing touchdowns rank as the highest totals by active SEC players. His passing touchdown and passing yards totals are first all-time at Arkansas, while his total offensive yardage and touchdown responsibility rank second all-time at UA. He also is second on the school's completions list with 491. His 158.1 career passing efficiency ranking is the third-highest in SEC history. He holds UA career records for 400-yard passing games (4) and 300-yard passing games (14). He has thrown for at least one touchdown in 25 of 26 Arkansas starts, multiple touchdowns in 15 starts at Arkansas and three or more touchdowns in 13 starts as a Razorback.

2010: Mallett started all 13 games and completed an Arkansas single-season record 266 passes on a school-record 411 attempts for 3,869 yards and 32 touchdowns, both UA single-season records, with 12 interceptions. He broke Arkansas' single-season total offense record for the second straight season, finishing 2010 with 3,795 yards. He led the SEC and ranked fifth in the NCAA with 297.6 passing yards per game. His 32 passing touchdowns were tops in the conference for the second straight season and tied for seventh in the country, and his 291.9 yards of total offense per game ranked second in the SEC and 14th in the nation. Mallett threw for 1,968 yards and 14 touchdowns against ranked opponents to lead the SEC and rank second in the country in both categories. He led the SEC and finished third in the NCAA with 30 completions of 30 or more yards, and his 63 in the last two seasons are the most in the NCAA. He topped the SEC and ranks second in the NCAA with 104 completions of 15 or more yards and his 35 completions of 25-plus yards tied for the conference lead and seventh in the nation. He has a completion of at least 25 yards in 24 of his 26 games as a Razorback and a 50 yarder in 15 games. His 163.65 passing efficiency ranked third in the SEC and seventh in the NCAA, and his 15.26 yards-per-completion average was third in the SEC and fifth in the NCAA.
His final game of 2010 produced another record-breaking performance. Mallett completed an Arkansas bowl-record 24 passes on a UA bowl-record 47 attempts for 277 yards and two touchdowns in the Sugar Bowl vs. No. 6 Ohio State. During the game, he also surpassed school single-season records for passing yards and total offense yards. He capped the regular season with a 13-for-23 passing performance for 320 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-23 victory vs. No. 6 LSU. In the game, he found Cobi Hamilton for touchdown scores of 80 and 85 yards to become the second quarterback in Arkansas history to throw two touchdown passes of at least 80 yards in the same game. It was his NCAA-leading ninth 300-yard passing game this season, which is a UA record, and extends his school career record to 14. Mallett threw for three touchdowns, including the game-winning score in double overtime, in Arkansas' 38-31 win at Mississippi State. He was 17-26 passing for 305 yards for his eighth 300-yard game this season. His second touchdown strike was an 89-yard hookup with Jarius Wright that is the second-longest scoring toss in Arkansas history. He tied two records in a 58-21 win vs. UTEP, throwing for five touchdowns to tie a mark he has put up four times at UA, and ran for another to match a 1995 record for single-game touchdown responsibility. Against the Miners, Mallett was 19-26 passing for 215 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions. He also had four rushes for 18 yards, with a 14-yard touchdown rush included. He broke the Arkansas single-game passing record with 409-yard effort that is most by SEC QB this season in a 49-14 win vs. Vanderbilt. His total was the fourth 400-yard game of his career and bettered his record of 408 set in 2009 vs. Georgia. He arrived at that total on 27-of-44 passing with three touchdowns, earning a career-high in attempts and recording the third-highest single-game attempts and completions totals in program history. He was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Commodores. He topped 300 yards passing for the seventh time in 2010, extending his single-season Arkansas record, with 303-yard effort while going 21-of-30 passing with one touchdown through the air and another on the ground in the Razorbacks' 41-20 victory at South Carolina. It was the 12th 300-yard passing game of his career, further extending his UA career record.
He was named Walter Camp National Player of the Week, SEC Offensive Player of the Week, Davey O'Brien Quarterback of the Week and Rivals.com Player of the Week following his 21-of-33 passing for 380 yards and three touchdowns at Georgia. Included in that game was the first game-winning drive of his career, in which he was 3-of-3 for 73 yards with a 40-yard touchdown pass with 15 seconds remaining. In the season opener vs. Tennessee Tech, he broke the Arkansas single-game completion percentage record (min. 20 attempts) with his .875 showing that also is the third-highest in SEC history (min. 20 completions) on 21-of-24 passing for 301 yards and three touchdowns. His three touchdowns thrown against the Golden Eagles tied the UA record for passing touchdowns in a season-opening game. The next week, he was 28-of-44 passing for 400 yards and three touchdowns against ULM. His completions are a single-game career high and rank as the second-highest single-game total in school history.
