Opened the season by being named to the Arkansas Invitational All-Tournament Team...posted a .531 hitting percentage with 2.11 kills per set during that opening weekend...recorded season-high eight kills in straight-set win over McNeese State and six total blocks against Oral Roberts...returned to the court at Ole Miss after missing previous eight matches...played two sets in return against the Rebels...recorded four kills and season-high five digs against Kentucky at Barnhill Arena...inserted back into starting lineup against No. 23 Tennessee...had four digs in the match...totaled five kills on eight swings and four total blocks at No. 13 Florida...registered a season-high seven total blocks in road sweep of South Carolina...had 12 total digs during home weekend against Auburn and Georgia...tallied career-high nine total digs in five setter with Georgia...nine total blocks is second-highest total by an SEC player in 2011...hit .444 with six kills in home match against Ole Miss...posted first two service aces of Razorback career in team’s win over Alabama...had three kills, four digs and two total blocks in sweep of LSU...registered team-high four total blocks in straight set victory at Mississippi State...was one off season high with seven kills at Georgia and No. 14 Tennessee...had a hitting percentage of .375 against the Bulldogs and .333 against the Lady Vols...continued strong showing in the middle with six total blocks in sweep of South Carolina...against No. 19 Florida, totaled five kills, five total blocks and a service ace...tied season high with nine total blocks in five-set matchup at No. 16 Kentucky...also tallied six kills against the Wildcats...had four kills with no errors in season finale at LSU.

Prior to Arkansas
Heckelman joined the Razorbacks in January of 2011 after spending the first half of her collegiate career at the University of Louisville. She appeared in 18 matches in 2010 with two starts as an outside hitter. She averaged 1.24 kills per set and 1.50 points per set as a sophomore attacker, and in a career-best effort, tallied 11 kills against CSU-Bakersfield. Her previous best came in a 10-kill performance as a freshman against Toledo. Heckelman played her prep volleyball at Bloomington High School in Illinois and was named the No. 71 player in the country on the 2009 Senior Aces list by PrepVolleyball.com. She was a three-time selection to the all-area and all-conference teams. Playing for the Illini Elite Club, she was a member of the 2008 AAU national championship team and earned AAU All-America honors in the process.

Born Sept. 6, 1990, Kasey Colleen Heckelman is one of two children to Rick and Gayle Heckelman of Bloomington, Ill. She has an older brother, Nick, and plans to major in psychology at Arkansas.
