2013: Alyssa Bass was a key pinch-runner in the 2013 season. She appeared in 27 games last season and scored seven runs. Her run against No. 22 Georgia on March 30 led to the Razorbacks' first sweep of a ranked team since 2000. She scored a run in three straight games from Feb. 17-23.

2012: Bass appeared in 33 games her freshman year as a Razorbacks getting one start in right field against UMKC on April 17. Bass pinch ran for the Razorbacks scoring eight runs including a run in the victory over Mississippi State on April 7. She recorded her first hit against No. 1 California in the Berkeley Regional on May 20.

HIGH SCHOOL: Alyssa Bass was a four-year starter at centerfield for Tomball High School, capped her career swinging to a .340 average with 12 home runs in 2011. She powered Tomball to a 34-6 overall record, a perfect 14-0 mark in league play and an appearance in the Texas Class 5A State Championship regional final. As a senior, she earned a spot on the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s academic all-state team for Class 5A. Her home run total as a senior was good for second-best on the Cougars’ squad. Bass batted the Cougars and her head coach, Benita Dunlavy, to the state playoffs each of her four seasons. She received all-state honorable mention after notching first-team accolades from the Texas Sports Writers Association after her junior season in 2010. Bass helped Tomball to the 2010 Texas Class 5A State Championship semifinals.  She hit 36 times with 32 RBI and 33 runs in 40 games as a senior. In 36 games as a junior, Bass had 43 hits with 31 RBIs and six homeruns. Bass and the Cougars were regional finalists in 2008 and she helped her team to become bi-district champions during her sophomore season. She was named first-team all-district as a freshman and sophomore.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 8, 1992, she is the daughter of Richard and Melanie Bass. She has a younger brother, Dylan, and an older sister, Madelyn. Bass is majoring in business.
