One of Arkansas’ best infield defenders, he was able to play second, shortstop or third base ... As a redshirt freshman, he was known for his glove work and came through with several big hits ... Finished the season with a .229 batting average with four multi-hit games ... Started 24 games, mostly at third base as a platoon player with Zack Cox, and had a season-best six-game hitting streak between April 8 and April 25 ... Against No. 1 Arizona State (4.8), he provided the first game-winning hit of his career, a two-RBI single in the fifth inning to lead the Hogs to an 8-7 victory ... Provided two RBI and scored a run at the SEC Tournament against No. 9 Florida (5.22) while also delivering on two sacrifice attempts, including a squeeze play ... Appeared in two of Arkansas’ College World Series games, playing against Virginia (6.17) and LSU (6.19).
Carver redshirted his first season at Arkansas.

Helped Fayetteville to back-to-back state championships in 2006 and 2007 ... Two-time all-conference selection ... As a senior earned first-team all-state recognition ...
