2013 || INDOOR: Finished seventh at the Tyson Invitational with a season-best clearance of 6-10.75 in the high jump…opened the season with a fifth-place showing at the Arkansas-Texas Dual. OUTDOOR: All-America Second Team…finished 13th in debut appearance at the NCAA Championships…equaled personal-best clearance of 7-0.5 at the national meet…qualified with a clearance of 6-11.5 at the NCAA West Preliminary…scored at the SEC Championships with seventh-place clearance of 6-8.75…opened the season with a winning jump of 6-10.75 at the Texas State Elite.

2012 || INDOOR: Golbek added a seventh-place finish in the high jump to the team’s point total at the SEC Championships. He had a final clearance of 6-9.5 at the conference meet. He opened the season with back-to-back personal-best efforts of 6-11.5 at the Arkansas Invitational and Arkansas-Texas Dual meet. OUTDOOR: Golbek capped his season as a qualifier for the NCAA West Preliminary in the high jump. He scored at the SEC Championships with an eighth-place finish, clearing his final bar at 6-11. He had an identical height effort at the John McDonnell Invitational. Golbek established a personal-best clearance of 7-0.5 with a third-place finish at the Arkansas Twilight. For his work in the classroom, Golbek earned a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2011 || INDOOR: Golbek opened his career with a pair of 6-8.75 clearances in the high jump, good for a runner-up finish at the Arkansas Invitational and a third-place result at the Arkansas-Texas Dual. He matched the height with successful jumps at the Razorback Invitational and Tyson Invitational. At the SEC Championships, he finished in scoring position with a personal-best clearance of 6-9 in the high jump. OUTDOOR: In the first two meets of the outdoor season, Golbek had fifth-place finishes at the Texas Triangular and Razorback Spring Invitational. At Penn Relays, he added another fifth-place effort with a 6-9.75 clearance. He went on to clear a season-best 6-11at the Arkansas Twilight and SEC Championships. His effort at the conference meet put Golbek in scoring position. He qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary and finished in 14th place overall (6-9).

AT CLAREMORE HS: Dwayne Golbek is the Claremore High School and Oklahoma State record holder in the high jump with his clearance of 7-0. Golbek holds a personal best of 7-0.5. He competed at the World Youth Trials (runner-up finish) and the World Youth Championships (10th). Golbek is a three-time all-state honoree, a two-time conference champion and a regional champion.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 9, 1992, he is the son of Daryl and Lesa Golbek. He plans to enter UA's pre-med program.
