AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12): Nott easily upped his match total from a year ago, seeing action in 23 singles matches and 33 doubles matches. The England native tallied an 11-12 overall record in singles during his sophomore campaign, including six wins in dual play and one conference victory. Nott's win over Michael Retta of Vanderbilt, 6-3, 6-1, helped Arkansas open the conference season with a win over the Commodores, its first team victory in SEC play since the 2010 spring season. Nott saw the majority of his dual match time at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions, notching three wins at the five spot and two at the six hole. He did make one appearance at the No. 4 position, earning the win in the process. In doubles, Nott teamed up with Manfred Jeske to be Arkansas' second strongest doubles team behind Hall Fess and Matt Walters. The duo compiled a 12-8 winning record on the year, which included three conference wins. Those conference wins were tied for tops on the team with Fess and Walters. Nott and Jeske actually opened the year winning 10 of their first 12 matches and helping Arkansas to its best start to the season since 2008. Nott also teamed up with Mike Ward early in the fall season and actually claimed the doubles tournament title at the Purdue Invitational. The tandem won four matches in three days over teams from Iowa, Western Michigan and Butler to claim the championship. Nott played doubles with four different teammates throughout the year and built up a series of doubles wins that were good for second on the team amongst all players.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11): Nott played almost extensively in the fall season where he compiled a 7-10 record. He began his Razorback career on a six-match winning streak, earning victories against players from Notre Dame, Iowa, Purdue, Southern Illinois, Florida Atlantic and Wisconsin-Green Bay. Nott also played in six doubles matches throughout the year, going 2-4 with teammates Hall Fess, Matt Hogan, Mike Ward and Nikolas Zogaj.

PRIOR TO ARKANSAS:  Mike Nott attended Rivington & Blackrod High School in Horwich, Bolton, England.  He competed in International Tennis Federation events in Great Britain and Ireland, and participated in some tournaments as well. Nott was the U12, U14, U16 and U18 County Champion. He was also the U18 County Cup Winner and also a National Grand Prix Semi-Finalist.

PERSONAL: Nott was born April 19, 1992, to Derek and Lorraine Nott in Preston, England. He has a brother Christopher, who also played tennis for the University of Arkansas.
