2012-13 Preview:
One of the most athletic players on the roster ... long for his size and plays good defense ... Athlon Sports preseason magazine named him one of Arkansas’ top recruits for this season ... led the team in dunks during the Italy tour and averaged 11.7 points in nearly 20 minutes ... according to Coach Anderson “a highlight waiting to happen.  He is a tremendously gifted athlete who has tremendous instincts. His wing span is probably that of a 6’11” player and he plays with that.  I like the way he plays with such passion and aggressiveness.  He has a big time motor and playing for me there is a place for guys with big motors.”

In High School:
Three-time district MVP … three-time tournament MVP … first-team all-state as a senior and second-team as a junior … led Huntington High School to four district championships … the Raiders ranked No. 1 in the state his freshman year and No. 7 when he was a junior … holds the Huntington record for triple-doubles … dropped 40 points in a game and has a career high 26 rebounds … graduated with a 3.8 grade point average and among the top 12 in his graduating class … signed with the Razorbacks after also considering LSU, Mississippi, Texas A&M and Tulane.

Personal:
Son of Anthony Qualls and Angela Brown … born Jan. 20, 1994 … he is majoring in kinesiology, applied exercise science.
