FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas’ soccer team is home for a second straight Southeastern Conference game as the Razorbacks play host to Alabama on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Razorback Field.
Alabama leads the series 10-5-2, including a 4-3-1 edge in Fayetteville, but the Razorbacks earned a 0-0 double-overtime tie in Tuscaloosa last season.
Arkansas entered the week leading the SEC with 6.40 saves per game. Alabama entered the week with a four-match winning streak.
"We’re excited to be home with our fans and feel some love," head coach Erin Aubry says. "The games where we have played really well for us have been the bigger challenges, at least on paper. It reveals a lot of character about our players and what they are willing to do when things get hard."
The Alabama game has been designated Latino Day with a pre-game tailgate section in Lot 56. The first 500 fans receive a Razorback soccer t-shirt and trading cards. A youth soccer clinic is also scheduled with Razorback student-athletes and coaches following the game.
Anyone wanting to reserve a spot for the clinic may do so by calling the Razorback Marketing Office at 479-575-6055 or emailing email@example.com.
