University of Arkansas head men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media on Thursday to preview the Razorbacks’ Saturday afternoon Southeastern Conference game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
The Razorbacks travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., after defeating Auburn on Wednesday night, to face Alabama in a game that showcases two of the league’s best defenses.
Anderson talked about the opportunity to play a very talented Alabama team. He also discussed Alabama’s Tony Mitchell and how he was a highlight waiting to happen and how Alabama’ recent struggles may hve had more to do with scheduling than anything else. He then answered questions from the media about his thoughts on Wednesday night’s game with Auburn, the prognossis of Marvell Waithe, free throw shooting and Alabama’s ability to defend the three-point shot.
The Razorbacks and Crimson Tide meet at 12:30 p.m. central on Saturday, Jan. 28.
