Allan McFerran of Ft. Smith, Ark., Will Osborne of Wichita Falls, Texas, Eric Schriver of Cary, N.C., and Jason Turner of Little Rock, Ark., will all become Razorbacks in the fall of 2004.
“All four will serve as big assets to our program as we move forward and win championships,” Arkansas head coach Mike Ketcham said. “They’re very accomplished and have experienced success on a national level. I’m looking forward to having them on the team, because not only are they great golfers, they have wonderful families and most importantly they have achieved high success in the classroom. I’m excited to have them join our family and I think they’ll fit in great with our program.”
McFerran attends Southside High School and is a three-time all-state golfer. As a junior he claimed the state 5A individual crown, while his team finished in second place. He also captured the top prize in New Orleans, La., at the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tournament.
