Arkansas-Kansas Baseball Canceled

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas-Kansas baseball game scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25, has been canceled due to snow and ice. No make-up date has been scheduled.
Arkansas went 2-0 over the weekend at the Service Academy Classic in Millington, Tenn. The Razorbacks defeated Navy 8-1 in a game that began Friday and concluded Sunday after more than 42 hours of rain caused its postponement.
The Razorbacks then beat Memphis 10-9 in dramatic fashion in the last game of the day on Sunday. Arkansas led 7-3 before the Tigers rallied to take a 9-7 lead in the sixth inning and led 9-8 in the top of the ninth.
Nick Pitts doubled home the game winning runs with one out in the top of the ninth as the Razorbacks claimed a 10-9 victory.
Arkansas is 5-0 this season, marking the first time since 1998 the Hogs have won the first five games of the season. The Razorbacks return to action this weekend at Baum Stadium when Illinois-Chicago travels to Fayetteville.
Game time for Friday’s series opener is set for 3 p.m.
