Arkansas Men’s Golf Finishes Tied for Second a

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s golf team recorded their second top three finish of the spring with a second-place showing at the Texas-San Antonio Invitational Tuesday afternoon.
The Razorbacks finished with a final 896, to finish 14 shots of tournament winner Wichita State which finished with a final tally of 882.
Arkansas had rounds of 295, 284 and 303 and finished tied for second with host school Texas-San Antonio.
Individually, Adam Wing had his best showing of the spring coming in tied for eighth with a final score of 221 after rounds of 69, 74 and 78. Wing’s first-round 69 tied a career low.
Drew Higginbothom finished tied for 10th after shooting 222 for the tournament. The 10th-place finish marked a career best for Higginbothom.
Seth Murphy continued his strong spring performance with a 228 to finish tied for 22nd. Murphy had rounds of 73, 79 and 76.
Beau Galyean and Chad Faucett each tied for 43rd with scores of 232. Galyean fired rounds of 77, 72 and 83, while Faucett shot rounds of 74, 76 and 82.
The Razorbacks will next travel to Los Angeles for the Southwestern Intercollegiate March 3-5.
