Arkansas Prepares to Face Alabamas Running Ga

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorbacks practiced for almost two hours on Tuesday on the practice fields behind Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and as they enter league play on Sept. 25, the Hogs turned their attention to the Alabama. The Crimson Tide have the top-ranked rushing offense (241.0) and defense (73.0) in the Southeastern Conference.
“I thought our guys came out here today very focused and practiced very well,” Arkansas head coach Houston Nutt said. “We got on Alabama’s formations. They do a lot of formations, shifts and movements that we’re going to have to prepare for. They have two excellent running backs. They’re the No. 1 rushing team in the SEC and they have the No. 1 defense in the SEC. It’s probably going to come down to who can run the ball and who can stop the run.”
