Arkansas Tied for Ninth at Gary Koch Intercoll

TAMPA, Fla. – The Razorbacks were only able to get through one round at the Gary Koch Intercollegiate after rain forced the field to postpone play of the full second round. Teams will play until dark falls and then have the opportunity to finish out the second round very early in the morning on Tuesday, with the final round scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
After 18 holes Arkansas is tied with Toledo in ninth place with a score of 307 (+19). UA is three strokes ahead of Southeastern Conference opponent and eighth-ranked Florida (310). Central Florida (41) is leading on the 7,078-yard, par 72 Old Memorial Golf Course with a five-over-par 293. UCF is receiving help from Stefan Wistorf is on top of the leader board with a 68.
For the Hogs sophomore Matt Bortis is tied in 13th when he shot a two-over-par 74. Freshman Will Osborne is next with a 76 and he is tied for 26th place. Another true freshman, Allen McFerran, carded a 78 to put him in a tie for 43rd. Redshirt freshman Scotty Campbell is one stroke back with a 79 and is tied in 48th. In his first fall tournament Beau Glover turned in an 80 and is tied in 64th.
When Razorbacks returns to the course on Tuesday they will look to post improved scores to move themselves up the leader board and record strong finish.
