As the 2012 Arkansas football season quickly approaches, the Razorback Athletic Department wanted to pass along the following updates. The team is ranked 10th in the USA Today preseason coaches’ poll and Arkansas opens the 2012 football season inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium against Jacksonville State on Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. *Tickets for the Arkansas-Alabama game (Sept. 15) and the Arkansas- LSU game (Nov. 23) have been sold out.*For the first time since the last major stadium expansion in 2001, all season ticket reserved seating for all Fayetteville games has been sold out. *Arkansas football fans have shown tremendous support by purchasing 88,185 season ticket packages for the upcoming year. Season ticket purchasers should expect their tickets to arrive in the mail shortly. *Season ticket sales have increased compared to 2011: 88,185 (2012) — 86,905 (2011) Student access pass sales are expected to increase compared to 2011:Expected to sell 12,000 (2012) — 10,000 (2011) *Arkansas has already sold a record number of tickets to its annual football kickoff luncheon, which will be held Friday, August 17 at Noon at the NWA Convention Center in Springdale. To purchase tickets, please call 800-982-HOGS (4647).*Last year, Arkansas was the only Division I-A school in the nation to rank in the top 25 of home attendance for football, men’s basketball and baseball.
