Arkansas hosts SEC Practice Round

FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas women’s golf team hosts the 2012 Southeastern Conference Championship this weekend at Blessings. Action begins Thursday with a 12-team practice round. Arkansas tees off from the first tee at 9 a.m. as the group of five Razorbacks have one last look at the course before beginning postseason play Friday morning. Thursday’s practice round begins at 8:30 a.m. with Tennessee off the first tee and Mississippi State off the 12th tee. South Carolina and Ole Miss follow at 8:45 a.m. with Arkansas and Kentucky beginning at 9 a.m. LSU and Florida tee off at 9:15 a.m. followed by Alabama and Georgia at 9:30 a.m. The practice round finishes with Auburn and Vanderbilt at 9:45 a.m. SEC Tournament play begins Friday at 8:30 a.m. with groups once again teeing off from the first and 12th holes. Georgia, Vanderbilt and Tennessee begin at 8:30 from hole one while Ole Miss, Kentucky and Mississippi State tee off from 12. Alabama, Auburn and LSU begin play at 9:20 a.m. from the first tee while Arkansas is paired with Florida and South Carolina from the 12th tee also at 9:20 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
