Arkansas is +10 in turnover margin this season. Last season the Razorbacks were -9. The Razorbacks recovered one fumble and had two interceptions in the game and have recovered 13 in their last four games (Texas A&M-2, Auburn-3, Florida-5, Ole Miss-3). Arkansas recovered just five fumbles during the entire 2008 season.

The Razorbacks have 15 touchdown drives this season under three minutes and 12 under two minutes.

Arkansas was 1-1 on red-zone possessions on the day. For the year, the Razorbacks are 24-25 on red-zone scores and have scored a touchdown on 16 of those possessions.

Greg Childs led the Razorback receivers for the fourth time this season. He is one of three Razorbacks to lead Arkansas in receiving this season (Jarius Wright 6-139 vs. Missouri St.; Greg Childs 5-140 vs. Georgia, 5-85 vs. Auburn, 4-135 vs. Florida, 3-83 vs. Ole Miss; Joe Adams 6-81 vs. Alabama, 3-110 vs. Texas A&M).

Individual Notes

Ryan Mallett was 12-34 for 254 yards and one touchdown pass on the day. He now has 15 touchdown passes in seven games this season.

Ryan Mallett’s 15 touchdown passes this season through seven games are as many or more than the Razorbacks threw in 51 entire seasons dating back to the 1947 season.

Knile Davis had his first career TD run with 2:15 left to play in the first half. He scored on a three-yard carry.

With six minutes to play in the third quarter, Carlton Salters caught his first career TD pass and made his first grab of 2009. His 58-yard scoring catch is a career long, replacing his previous of 21 yards.

Alex Tejada converted two extra-point attempts on the day and was 1-1 in field goal chances. His 44 yarder with 9:45 to play in the second half was just off his career best of 47 yards. On the year, he is now 10-12 on field goal attempts and 25-26 on extra-point opportunities.

To begin the second half, Freddy Burton forced his first career fumble while Ramon Broadway scooped up his first fumble recovery of 2009 and his first fumble recovery since 2007 vs. Kentucky.

To end the first half, Jerico Nelson had his first career interception with a 39-yard return. He finished with four tackles, one tackle for loss and an interception.

Andru Stewart opened the second half with his first career interception. He had a 30-yard return on the play. He finished with three tackles, one tackle for loss and an interception.

Arkansas’ captains were Adrian Davis, Wendel Davis, Ryan Mallett and Michael Smith.

Arkansas is 4-3 in coin tosses this season. The Razorbacks are 1-1 when they lose the coin toss.
