FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas football team practiced on the UA practice fields on Tuesday in preparation for its game against Auburn this Saturday in Auburn, Ala.
Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Paul Petrino spoke with the media and discussed the keys to the Razorbacks being successful in the Red Zone. "We have spent many hours on the critical zone game plan," Coach Petrino said. "I think we have a great plan, we just need to go out and execute it and score more points."
Coach Petrino also commented on the need to be mentally tough while on the field.
"We need to get more points," Coach Petrino said. "We need more touchdowns, guys need to break a tackle, be spectacular, do something special, or we need to be mentally tough enough to go play after play and go score."
Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 11 a.m., and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
