Arkansas-Texas to be aired on ABC Sports

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The date has changed, but the television network will remain the same for the re-scheduled Arkansas-Texas game on Sept. 27 at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. ABC Sports will regionally televise the Razorbacks and Longhorns from Austin with kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. CT. ABC Sports was originally slated to show the game on Sept. 13 before it was postponed and moved to Sept. 27 due to Hurricane Ike.

Arkansas’ matchup against its former Southwest Conference rival will be the third television appearance for the Razorbacks this season. The Arkansas-ULM game was available via pay-per-view broadcast while this weekend’s game against Alabama will be televised by Raycom Sports at 11:30 a.m.

Arkansas’ season finale against defending national champion LSU on Nov. 28 in Little Rock will be nationally-televised by CBS Sports at 1:30 p.m. CT.

No further television arrangements involving the Razorbacks for the 2008 season have been made at this time. Networks may wait until 12 days prior to a game to select that contest for telecast.
