Arkansas-USC to Kick Off 2006 Season at 7:45 p.m. CT on ESPN

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas will kick off the 2006 season with a 7:45 p.m. CT game against Southern California on ESPN it was announced by the network and the Southeastern Conference on Thursday. The battle between the Hogs and the Trojans at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville is part of an eight-game early-season schedule on ESPN.

The game will be the second game of a doubleheader that also features Cal at Tennessee earlier in the day. The USC game is one of three Arkansas games already slated for television next season. The Razorbacks non-conference game with Louisiana-Monroe on Oct. 28 in Little Rock, Ark., will be televised by ESPNU. The network hasn’t announced a time for the game to be held at War Memorial Stadium. Arkansas’ season finale against LSU will once again be televised on the Friday after Thanksgiving by CBS Sports at 1:30 p.m. CT.

Additional television arrangements will be announced as they become official.
