4:03 p.m. — Arkansas closes with an 18-3 run to wipe out most of UGA’s lead but the Lady Bulldogs escape with a 73-63 win over the Razorbacks.
4:03 p.m. — Rees hits again and its a 10 point game, 73-63, but only 25 seconds left.
4:01 p.m. — Arkansas making a push in the closing minutes, whittling down the UGA margin behind buckets from Watkins and Rees; now 73-61 with 1:18 left. UGA out of time outs.
3:55 p.m. — Harris steps to the line for Arkansas, where the Razorbacks have managed a distinct advantage. Arkansas has shot 23 (making 17) to UGA’s 12 (made 9).
3:51 p.m. — Final media time out of the game, Razorbacks trailing 70-50 to Georgia.
3:47 p.m. — Every Razorback that has played today has a rebound, and almost every player has scored. Arkansas battling in these closing minutes, but not able to cut into the 20-point margin of the Lady Bulldogs. Now 30-second time out for UA.
3:41 p.m. — At the 7:50 media time out, Georgia leads 62-45, Razorbacks led by Harris with 16 and Ford with 12; shooting is difference in game.
3:36 p.m. — Shooting woes continue for Razorbacks, 25% for game now to 48% for UGA, and Lady Bulldogs extend to 20, 60-40 at 10 minutes.
3:29 p.m. — Now extending to 11-1 as UGA leads 57-39 at 12:07.
3:27 p.m. — Another 5-1 micro-run by UGA takes margin back over double-digits, 51-39, at 13:29.
3:23 p.m. — At the 14:48 media break, offense continues to bother Arkansas, trailing 46-38. Compounding the shooting issue (29.3% to 42.9%) is an overall offensive ball movement. The Lady Bulldogs have two players closing on double-digit assists and have 14 assists for their 18 made field goals. Arkansas has only 8 assists for its 12 made field goals.
3:21 p.m. — Lyndsay Harris drops her second three-pointer of the game to cut the deficit down to six, 44-38.
3:20 p.m. — Play stops as Ashley Daniels exits to change jerseys; blood from a cut and for the rest of today, #12 will be #11.
3:14 p.m. — Another exchange of points as Arkansas fights to cut into UGA’s 10-point lead, margin holding at 43-33 with 17:50 left.
3:10 p.m. — Back underway.
2;59 p.m. — As the Latino Day celebrations continue, ballet folklorico el Mexicano performs in traditional dress and music some of the classics.
2:58 p.m. — Ford leads Arkansa with 10 points, Harris adds 7.
2:57 p.m. — Field goal shooting the main problem in first half for Arkansas as Razorbacks hit only 27.8% while UGA goes 47.1%
2:56 p.m. — Neither team converts on their last efforts for the half, and we go to intermission with Georgia leading, 40-30.
2:54 p.m. — Close out of bounds call riles up the fans, UGA calls a time out to set a play with 39.4 left. Arkansas sets the defense to perfection, and the Lady Bulldogs have to take a second time out. Georgia now heads into the second half with only two to call.
2:51 p.m. — Ashley McCray’s free throws snap the run, which gets to 7-0, and pulls Arkansas back to a 10-margin, 40-30, at 1:08.
2:50 p.m. — Quickly the Lady Bulldogs use a 5-0 burst to get their first 10-point lead, 38-28, at 1:43.
2:49 p.m. — The game is stuck on five and three as the teams trade buckets. Heading into the last three minutes, UGA holds its five-point spread at 33-28.
2:40 p.m. — Ricketts gets an 18-footer, but Hassell matches her as we advance the score to 29-26.
2:39 p.m. — The thing about smaller crowds, you can hear all the "help" the fans have for the officials during dead ball. "Awkward Silence" chants the band as the officials get the shot clock and game clock back into sync. Teams have traded buckets again, and now Arkansas will inbound with the score 27-24 after time is set.
2:36 p.m. — Three-poiner from Charity Ford closes the gap back to 3, 25-22, at the 7:35 media time out; Ford leads with 8, Harris with 7.
2:32 p.m. — Back-to-back layups off steal or turnover for Arkansas cuts the lead to five, 24-19, and Andy Landers bounds up from the bench to call a time out.
2:28 p.m. — Media time out finds Arkansas down 24-15.
2:24 p.m. — Tom Collen calls a time out after a Jaleesa Rhoden three-pointer makes another mini-run for UGA of 5-1, 22-13 for UGA at 12:00 on the mark
2:21 p.m. — Harris goes baseline for the layup to snap a 5-0 UGA run, now 14-12 Georgia.
2:18 p.m. — Jasmine Hassell’s three-point play gives UGA its first lead, 7-6. The teams exchange buckets before a pair of Ashley Daniels free throws puts Arkansas back ahead, 10-9, at 14:19.
2:17 p.m. — Both teams struggling at the first media timeout: 28.6% from the field for Arkansas, 33.3% for UGA.
2:14 p.m. — After hitting the first two field goals of the game, Razorbacks go cold for the next five attempts. Georgia isn’t exactly red hot, but a pair of buckets now has the score 6-4 Arkansas at the first media timeout.
