— FINAL — HOGS 67, REBS 59

8:52 p.m. — Daniels scores the final point of the night off a free throw as the Razorbacks hold off the Rebels here in Bud Walton.

8:49 p.m. — Harris takes full advantage of the 1-and-1 coming out of Ole Miss’ timeout, Arkansas tightening things up on the Rebs now up 7.

8:47 p.m. — Rebels having to foul now with under a minute left, sending the Hogs to the line and calling their final timeout of the night, score’s still 64-59.

8:46 p.m. — Collen’s Razorbacks obviously not co-operating with the called play and he calls another 30 second timeout with 1:13 left.

8:43 p.m. — Hogs take a 30 second timeout with 1:34 to go here in Fayetteville, Arkansas still up 64-59 on Ole Miss.

8:39 p.m. — Hogs and Rebels trade a couple quick buckets, Hogs currently on top 64-59.

8:38 p.m. — Ford hits the fade-away, however Black gets another 3 to go back on the opposite end of the floor, Arkansas still in front, 61-57.

8:35 p.m. — Jump ball on the floor and the possession arrow’s gonna give it back to the Hogs as they take a 30 second timeout with 4:33 left in regulation, UA still ahead 59-54..

8:34 p.m. — Black’s getting hot for Ole Miss right when they need it, however Daniels counters Black’s 3 with a lay-up of her own and Arkansas is up 5, 59-54.

8:31 p.m. — Black hits a short jumper from the left, Rebs back within 6 at 57-51.

8:28 p.m. — Melson picks Harris’ pocket and takes it all the way to the rack, cutting the Hog lead to 8 with 7:22 remaining.

8:26 p.m. — Townsend hits the short jumper followed by an empty Rebel possession and another basket by Ricketts as Arkansas has stretched their lead to 10 at 57-47.

8:25 p.m. — Daniels drops in another lay-up and pushes the Razorback lead to 53-47.

8:22 p.m. — Ford pulls and pops the mid-range 2 and the Hogs are going to take a 51-47 lead into the 2nd media timeout with 9:50 to play.

8:21 p.m. — Robertson’s doing her best Rotnei Clarke impression as she drills another one from beyond the arc to cut Arkansas’ edge to 49-47.

8:19 p.m. — Melson gets the easy 2 off of the fastbreak, but Harris again answers the call for the Razorbacks offensively dropping off a 3 from the top of the key to make it 49-44.

8:17 p.m. — Harris drops off a Steve Nash-esque behind-the-back to Ford to get Bud Walton on its feet, however the Rebs respond with yet another Robertson 3 to which the Hogs answer with a harris lay-up, UA up 46-42.

8:16 p.m. — Thomas hits another lay-up and Ole Miss has cut Arkansas’ lead to 3.

8:14 p.m. — Coming into the 1st media timeout of the 2nd, Razorbacks are up 5 on the Rebels, 42-37.

8:12 p.m. — Harris turns it over on the travel and Melson gets to the line on the other end and drops off both freebies to cut the Hogs lead to 42-37.

8:08 p.m. — Ricketts makes an incredible move to pick off Melson’s pass and then takes it coast-2-coast to put the Razorbacks ahead 7, 42-35.

8:06 p.m. — Rebs get it to Thomas underneath who gets it to go, UA leads it 40-35.

8:05 p.m. — Harris sinks a wide-open look off of the right wing to open up the scoring here in the 2nd, Hogs up 40-33.

8:01 p.m. — Hogs hit the floor for some 2nd half warm-ups here at Bud Walton, 2nd half action now just moments away.

7:51 p.m. — Sue Magdefrau was named the Arkansas Women’s Basketball Fan of the Century here at the half, Congratulations Sue!

— HALF — HOGS 37, REBS 33

7:48 p.m. — Suddenly offense is the name of the game again as the Hogs and Rebels trade off some quick baskets to end the half, Arkansas will take a 37-33 lead into the locker rooms.

7:46 p.m. — Black draws the foul and manages to hit her 2nd attempt at the line, Hogs get it to Watkins on the other end and she scores to keep the lead at 6.

7:45 p.m. — Robertson drains another 3 for the Rebels, however Ricketts responds with the short jumper and the Hogs are still on top 33-28.

7:42 p.m. — Heading into the final media timeout of the 1st, the Razorbacks are still enjoying a 6 point lead over the Rebs at 31-25.

7:39 p.m. — Ford drops off a nice looking jumper and the Hogs extend their lead to 31-25.

7:37 p.m. — T her up! Lewis gets hit with the tech and Harris is money from the line with no pressure on her, Razorbacks now ahead 4, 29-25.

7:35 p.m. — Hogs kick it out to Daniels who swishes the open mid-range jumper, however Robertson sinks a 3 of her own on the other end making it 27-25 Razorbacks with 6:00 to play.

7:32 p.m. — Thomas goes hard baseline and sinks a gross looking toss-up to cut Arkansas’ lead back to 3.

7:31 p.m. — Daniels hits again to make 25-20 Arkansas.

7:30 p.m. — Harris gets it off the fastbreak and lays it up and in, but Melson hits a 3 on the following trip for the Rebs to cut the Hog lead to 3 at 23-20.

7:28 p.m. — The timeout pays off for the Rebs as Robertson nails a 3 from the right wing coming out of it, Harris answers from the stripe for the Hogs though and Arkansas still leads 21-17.

7:26 p.m. — Black drains both of her foul shots coming out of the timeout, however Ford answers with a 2-point bucket of her own followed by a Rebel turnover and another McCray lay in, Hogs lead it 19-14 as Ole Miss has to burn a timeout.

7:23 p.m. — Both offenses have come grinding to a hault following some really poor ball-handling, Arkansas still holding onto the lead at 13-12 with 11:58 to go in the 1st.

7:21 p.m. — Williams gets called for the block but all of Bud Walton wanted the charge, score still 13-12.

7:19 p.m. — Hogs get it to a wide-open McCray under the basket for the easy lay-up, Arkansas back on top now 13-12.

7:16 p.m. — Robertson tips in the put-back and Ole Miss leads it 12-11 heading into the 1st media timeout of the night with 14:05 remaining in the 1st.

7:15 p.m. — Melson and Watkins trade off a series of buckets as both teams seem to be finding their stride offensively, UM leads 11-10.

7:14 p.m. — Lewis hits from down low for the Rebels, Daniels again able to work her way to the stripe on the subsequent trip where she hit ’em both this time, Razorbacks up 7-5.

7:12 p.m. — Razorbacks get it to Daniels again who draws the contact and manages to hit 1 of 2 from the line, Hogs ahead 5-3.

7:11 p.m. — Daniels calls glass and gets it to go from down low, and then drains the floater following the Ole Miss turnover, UA up 4-3.

7:10 p.m. — Ford snags an errant Reb pass but the Hogs come up empty again on the following trip up floor.

7:06 p.m. — Arkansas controls the tip but are not able to get any points on the opening possession, however the Rebs are as they get it to Robertson who drains the 3, UM up 3-0.

7:02 p.m. — They hit the lights and that means that it’s starting line-up time here at Bud Walton, tonight’s opening 5 for the Razorbacks are gonna be: Ricketts, Harris, Ford, Daniels, & Rees.

6:52 p.m. — The Rebels head back to the locker room as the Hogs take advantage of the open court and shoot around on both ends, just 8 minutes away from gametime.

6:43 p.m. — Razorbacks take the floor for warm-ups as the Hog Wild Band cranks it up, tip’s now 17 minutes away here in Fayetteville.

6:34 p.m. — AD Jeff Long chats it up with Coach Collins over on the Razorbacks bench as the fans start to make their way into Bud Walton 26 minutes out from the opening tip.
