4:02 p.m. — The Commodores hand on for the win, 67-61, over Arkansas. Vanderbilt moves to 16-6 and 5-4 in SEC play while the Razorbacks fall to 9-12 and 1-7. Harris leads Arkansas with 20 points followed by 12 for Ford.

4:01 p.m. — Vandy inbounds and Arkansas scrambles for a foul. After a couple of tries, Ford ends up getting the clock stopper, unfortunately her fifth. Vandy gets both FTs, now 67-61, with 22.9.

3:59 p.m. — The teams trade buckets to keep the margin four; Collen calls time out with 29.9 to set his defense. Razorbacks need a turnover.

3:58 p.m. — Vanderbilt picks up its 10th, and Harris hits both to cut the lead to 63-59.

3:57 p.m. — Back-to-back fouls take Arkansas to 10 for the team and Vandy uses FTs to move out to a 63-57 lead at 1:22.

3:54 p.m. — Ricketts takes a terrific tumble and is slow to get up. She hobbles to the huddle as Vanderbilt has called a time out to save a held ball.

3:52 p.m. — Arkansas comes out of the time out with a ferocious defense, forces a turnover and Watkins breaks the scoreless run with a jumper at 3:12. Vandy returns the favor with a three-pointer to make it 61-57.

3:50 p.m. — It’s a slow motion 8-0 run for Vandy as we go to the final media time out, still 58-55 VU. Arkansas has not scored in five minutes on the clock — Harris’ layup.

3:48 p.m. — Mad scrambles for two rebounds of Arkansas shots, bodies fly before a tie ball puts possession back to Vanderbilt. Still 58-55, 4:01 to play.

3:46 p.m. — Tom Collen calls a time out after Rhoads’ jumper moves the score to 58-55 Vandy. Ricketts gets a band-aid job to take care of a cut in the time out. Physical play and foul trouble are the hallmarks — both teams have three major players in foul trouble. Arkansas has Rees, Ford and Daniels with 4 each; Vandy has Lueders and Marsh with four, Mooney with three.

3:43 p.m. — Clarke drives in to tie the game at 55 for Vandy, picks up the 8th team foul from Arkansas. The three-point play is good and Vandy regains the lead for the first time since the 10 minute mark of the first half.

3:40 p.m. — Shooting is off for both teams. After a 55.6% first half, Arkansas is hitting just 31.6%; Vandy was 54.5% and down to 38.9%. Where Vandy holds a second half advantage is in the three-point shooting. Arkansas was 36.4% in first, just 16.7% in the second while Vandy has managed to stay somewhat on the same pace 50% in the first and 43% in the second.

3:37 p.m. — Defense continues to frustrate both offenses, but for Arkansas, a fourth foul for Sarah Watkins hurts. With Ashley McCray unable to dress with her separated shoulder, the post rotation is thin and starter Skye Rees is laready on the bench with four.

3:34 p.m. — Razorbacks counter with man press.

3:32 p.m. — Commodores inching back; using a full-court zone to close to three, 51-48.

3:27 p.m. — Vandy comes out of the time out and attacks Rees. She picks up her fourth foul and the three-point play for Clarke stops Arkansas run. UA still leads, 51-46.

3:25 p.m. — Ford gets the steal and is away. Now a 7-0 run by Arkansas to regain control, 51-43, and Vandy calls a time out.

3:24 p.m. — Ricketts sees the gap and attacks Lueders tries to draw the charge but it becomes a three-point play for UA, 49-43 Arkansas.

3:15 p.m. — Teams trade buckets, but Arkansas maintains the 41-34 lead at 17:30.

3:12 p.m. — Second half is underway with Arkansas inbounding, missed shot and Vandy takes the possession up floor for a three-pointer.

2:55 p.m. — Vandy gets the last shot, and another last shot, and another last shot, but comes up short on all three as the Razorbacks head into the locker room with the lead, 39-31.

2:51 p.m. — Arkansas is now outshooting Vandy, 58.3% to 59.7%.

2:49 p.m. — More Vandy offensive breakdowns open the door for Razorback easy baskets and Arkansas takes its largest lead of the day, 37-29 heading into the final media break.

2:45 p.m. — Meanwhile, Charity Ford drains a long two, then a trey for a Razorback lead. The made three lets Arkansas set a press and Vanderbilt kacks up the inbounds to Ford who feeds Robinson for a layup. Commodores call a time out back down five, 32-27. Balcomb sets her press breaker and VU gets the fastbreak layup to cut the lead back to three, 32-29.

2:43 p.m. — Sunday, Bloody Sunday. Rees comes off the floor with her third foul, but has blood on her jersey. The mangers get her the back up No. 11. One trip up the floor and Lindsay Harris is sent off the court by the officials with blood. Now we have Harris needing the #11 — each team has extra jerseys by size — the two head off the court to the tunnel to swap and Harris now returns as #11. Rees unknown as she slips on her warm-up.

2:41 p.m. — As an example of the fouls, Rees checks back in, makes two trips down the floor and picks up her third foul. Rees heads to the bench with Arkansas’ 7th team foul; Vandy already has 10. A travel o the other end gives VU its 6th turnover and we stay at 25-25, 5:58 left.

2:40 p.m. — Perhaps spoke too soon about the offense, as each side has become extremely patient — lots of clock wound down on each end setting plays — and the score hasn’t advanced much in the last few minutes — only four points total. Both teams are still shooting in the 60’s, but the turnovers and fouls are starting to mount on both teams. 25-25, 6:40.

2:32 p.m. — In the SEC this year, defense has held sway. Today, two teams are putting on a shooting exhibition — 69.2% from Arkansas and 75% for Vandy.

2:29 p.m. — Coming out of the time out, Balcomb asks a question of the officials about the clock. Band chants "awkward silence" while it’s discussed. Quick travel on Arkansas on the inbounds and Vandy heads up court to tie the game at 23-23.

2:26 p.m. — Second media time out and Vandy has finally missed — twice. Razorbacks hold the lead, 23-20, at 11:20. Arkansas keeps its hot hand at 69.2%

2:22 p.m. — Robinson gets the breakaway layup and Arkansas has its largest lead at 5, 21-16; Balcomb calls a time out.

2:20 p.m. — Getting physical on the floor as Arkansas takes a charge, then Harris gets knocked off balance on a short jumper, landing awkwardly on the small of her back. She’s slow to get up, but makes her way to the line. Hits both FTs before exiting. Arkansas up 19-16.

2:18 p.m. — Lueders comes down after a Ricketts layup gave Arkansas the lead. Her shot was awful, off-line, clanking hard off theback bracket of the iron. Well, there’s Vandy’s first miss, wait, it bounced up, two touches on the rim and somehow it falls through. Wow.

2:17 p.m. — Harris gets nothing but the bottom of the net to tie it at 11-11, Vandy keeps its FG streak alive to regain the lead 13-11; Watkins reties at 13 in the see saw battle.

2:14 p.m. — All offense as we go to the first media time out and Vandy leading 11-8. Daniels and Harris lead UA with 3 each. Arkansas is hitting 60% from the field, but Vanderbilt is perfect (4-of-4).

2:12 p.m. — Marsh hits a layup and the two teams combined have only missed one shot. It’s all field goals or turnovers both ways so far. Vandy up 9-7.

2:11 p.m. — Lueders evens it up with her three-pointer, 7-7.

2:10 p.m. — Harris drains a three-pointer to put Arkansas back into the lead, 7-4.

2:09 p.m. — Unfortunately, Rees’ start lasts a little more than a minute as she picks up two quick fouls, bringing freshman Sarah Watkins off the bench. In previous years, having a think post would be a problem with traditional Vanderbilt, but Melanie Balcomb’s team is more the size of the Razorbacks.

2:07 p.m. — And Rees opens the game with a jumper to give Arkansas the 2-0 lead.

2:05 p.m. — We think this is Skye Rees’ first career start for the Razorbacks.

2:02 p.m. — Starters for Arkansas — Daniels, Rees, Ricketts, Ford and Harris; For Vanderbilt — Lueders, Tuomi, Mooney, Rhoads, Marsh.

2:00 p.m. — National Anthem.

1:50 p.m. — Vandy departs while the Razorbacks remain for their usual full court work.

1:45 p.m. — Both teams return for final warmups. Back on the court is Brittney Richardson from her earlier back strain. Coach Collen hasn’t had a full bench thanks to injuries for most of the SEC season.

1:30 p.m. — Speaking of weather delays, remember that the men’s game with Ole Miss is on today at 6 p.m. in Oxford due to weather travel trouble. It will stream via OleMissSports.TV to RazorVision through a stream share. Click on the Live Events tab at tipoff to see the link. Thanks to Ole Miss for sharing the video.

1:29 p.m. — The Razorbacks have gone through a long weekend of ice and snow for all sports. While it’s always a challenge to work with the elements, Arkansas has a long tradition of working through snowy weather. We’ll review some of those moments during today’s game.

1:20 p.m. — Both teams work through initial shooting, and head back for locker room talks with head coaches.

1:10 p.m. — Razorbacks will be a player down today as we see Ashley McCray is in street clothes. We understand McCray separated her shoulder diving for a ball in Arkansas’ win at Alabama, and is still out today.

1:00 p.m. — Welcome to Bud Walton Arena. Today is Arkansas’ participation in the national bring a kid to a game day. The streets are greatly improved from previous days.
