Bigham recognized by CB360

FAYETTEVILLE – For his on-field performance last week against New Mexico and Georgia, Bo Bigham has been selected to the CollegeBaseball360 Primetime Performer Weekly Honor Roll. In five games, the Texarkana, Ark., native was 11-for-20 (.550) at the plate with six runs scored and a .654 on-base percentage.

In the Razorbacks’ midweek opener against New Mexico, Bigham tied his career high with four hits, including his team-leading 11th double of the season. With the game tied in the 11th inning, Bigham led off the bottom of the frame with a single and eventually came around to score the game-winning run.

During Arkansas’ three-game sweep of Georgia, Bigham totaled seven hits, five runs scored and two RBI. He tied his career high with three runs scored in the opener against the Bulldogs and for the second time during the week, Bigham reached base five times. In the weekend series finale, he was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Showing his versatility, Bigham moved from his primary position at second base to play right field in Saturday’s game.

Bigham is third on the team, and 10th in the SEC, with his .372 batting average. He is also tied for ninth in the conference with 11 doubles. Bigham has hit safely in nine of Arkansas’ last 11 games and has bumped his batting average 70 points during that span. He is the fourth Razorback to garner CollegeBaseball360 honors this season, joining Brett Eibner, Zack Cox and Collin Kuhn.

The Razorbacks take their 11-game winning streak into Tuesday’s matchup with Oral Roberts Baum Stadium. The game will be televised by Cox Sports Television (Ch. 119 in Northwest Arkansas) with first pitch scheduled for 6:37 p.m. Mike Nail and Ron Swoboda will have the call of the midweek contest.
