9:57 p.m. — There’s the final score, Arkansas 56, Troy 20; the Razorbacks are now bowl eligible with two games left to play

9:54 p.m. — Tyler Wilson in at QB for Arkansas, Mallett is done.

9:53 p.m. — Troy scrambling to keep their final drive alive and Arkansas from getting the ball back. Now fourth and 1, incomplete and it goes over to Arkansas at its own 35 yard line.

9:49 p.m. — Troy changes QBs to try and change its fate, gets a first down but not a lot more.

9:44 p.m. — Knile Davis takes it the last nine yards for the TD, PAT is good (and Tejada now ties the career mark) for a 56-20 lead.

9:42 p.m. — Hamilton hauls in Mallett’s pass for 15 yards to the nine yard line.

9:41 p.m. — Johnson takes the catch for 11 yards, hit out of bounds and a personal foul adds 15 more to put Arkansas at the Troy 27.

9:39 p.m. — Mallett hits Lucas Miller for the first down to the 46.

9:39 p.m. — Razorbacks start from 26, Green on the carry.

9:35 p.m. — Brown just left as QB for Troy after a crushing hit. Trojans go to the Wildcat while Brown gets his head clear. They get little but will now go on fourth and 7 at the Razorback 26.

9:34 p.m. — Troy’s folks report Mallett’s five TDs are the most against the Trojans since Chad Pennington did the same back in 1998. It is the most by an opponent in the Division I era.

9:33 p.m. — The Trojans are moving up field, but almost another turnover with a broken up pass.

9:31 p.m. — Mallett’s five TDs to five different receivers.

9:30 p.m. — Troy takes the kickoff to the 32 to start the drive, five on first down in a pass to Greer.

9:27 p.m. — Mallett sets the record for 300-yard passing games in a season — 4 — with that pass. He ties his own game record with five touchdown passes.

9:27 p.m. — Good night as Ronnie WIngo takes the Mallet screen 83 yards for the TD, PAT for Tejada is good and Arkansas 49, Troy 20; 13:10 to play.

9:25 p.m. — Looks like Hogs recovered to end Troy drive, and Twitter has shut down @RazorbackRoad again

9:24 p.m. — Pass interference will aid the Troy drive, putting the Trojans at the Arkansas 21 yard line.

9:22 p.m. — Tejada has 123 PATs, correction issued in the press box; so we all mistweeted that based on bad info

9:22 p.m. — Troy trying to get is momentum back after cutting Arkansas lead, now driving across midfield to the Arkansas 35.

9:18 p.m. — Southward gets his final carry northward as we end the third quarter; Troy got two yards to the 22. Heading to the fourth and its 42-20 Arkansas.

9:16 p.m. — Career record for PATs now owned by Alex Tejada with his 126

9:15 p.m. — Mallett finds Wright just inside the end zone stripe for 9 yards, the PAT will wait, flags, PAT now good, UA 42, Troy 20

9:11 p.m. — As Troy trainers help Johnson’s victim from the field (Boris Lee), I think that’s what the team calls a "punish" hit. Right now, Boris thinks he’s with Natasha trying to catch Moose and Squirrel.

9:11 p.m. — Ben Cleveland gets the first down catch, Hogs at the Troy 21; Mallett goes heavy right, hands to Johnson left, ends it with a huge hit

9:10 p.m. — That’s a hole, that’s acceleration, and those, those are "touchdown blocks" as Johnson breaks away for 46 yards to the Troy 34.

9:08 p.m. — Troy’s 3rd & 23 gets worse, flags for motion; 3rd & 28, 3 man rush, shovel pass to Jernigan, and Arkansas’ Nelson shows those are the kind that get a back buried. Jernigan gets hammered for 1 yard loss, Trojans punt to Hogs, touchback and we start at 20.

9:07 p.m. — Really bad pitch that leads to a seven yard loss for Troy, after repeated pressure, Brown finally goes down, T. Wright gets sack.

9:05 p.m. — Apparently, nothing as officials moved in, all players stopped, then we go again, Brown gets 1st to Williams at UA 32

9:02 p.m. — Brown throws it away under pressure, 2nd & 10; quick restart, high and wide to left; 3rd & 10, and what just happened?

8:59 p.m. — Mallett gets sacked on second down for a big loss, nine yards, 3rd and 19 at the UA 11; handoff to Wingo sets up fourth down. Flags on play for punt, off sides on Troy, repunt.

8:57 p.m. — Mallett feels the rush, readjusts, finds Williams open but has it batted down by a Troy lineman

8:55 p.m. — Flea flicker reverse back to Chandler goes complete for the TD to Andrew Davis, the PAT is good and now Ark 35, Troy 20

8:54 p.m. — Jernigan finds the corner and moves it 18 yards to the Razorback 17.

8:54 p.m. — Brown goes across the middle to Reeves for 19 to the Hogs 35, bounces it incomplete to a receiver under pressure on 2nd down.

8:53 p.m. — Troy opens with a completion out to their own 45, goes with Southward on the counter and he goes a mere foot up field

8:48 p.m. — Let the record reflect we called that drive; also, while Troy has scored on its last couple of drives, you can’t match FGs against TDs.

8:47 p.m. — Mallett to Williams over the middle, big tight end bulls through last tackler for score, 28 yards; PAT is good, Ark 35, Troy 13

8:46 p.m. — Green almost tightropes to six, but gets the first down at the 28 before losing his balance.

8:46 p.m. — Touch pass over the shoulder to Wright, almost in stride, a 36 yard gain to the Troy 38 and a first down

8:44 p.m. — Into the end zone for the touchback, Hogs start first drive of second half in same place they started game; that was 80-yd TD drive.

8:41 p.m. — Brown smacked again, overthrows Gill in the back of the end zone; 4th and goal and Troy goes for 3, Taylor’s kick is good, Ark 28 Troy 13.

8:39 p.m. — Troy will call the time out and it will reinvigorate the roar of the crowd; they’re not saying boo, they’re saying . . . oh nevermind.

8:37 p.m. — Greer works it down to the three, Brown out the gun gets rocked by the rush and throws a field goal with no receivers in the neighborhood.

8:36 p.m. — Williams pulls it in on the Razorback 21 yard line on nifty crossing pattern; Jernigan carries it down to the 7 for the first down; the boos continue unbroken.

8:35 p.m. — Ruling on the field stands, much to the chagrin of the 66-thousand plus on hand; a deafening roar now in the stadium; Troy stuffed on 1st

8:33 p.m. — Long catch for Brown to the Razorback 43; Troy tries to hurry and get the play off before the review is called but can’t; we now wait.

8:31 p.m. — Troy takes the opening kickoff of the second half and almost gives it up for the fumble; replay gets the crowd excited; now the play is under review. Play stands as called, forward progress stopped and no fumble; 1st and 10 for Troy at own 27

8:08 p.m. — Brown has the ball stripped from him, squirts forward and covered by a lineman; Troy will call its final time out.

8:08 p.m. — First interception for Mallet in 141, so we see the nation’s top two pick-less streaks end tonight in Fayetteville

8:05 p.m. — Hogs start on own 16, Mallett throws a looong interception to snap his streak. Bryan Willis get the pick but pays dearly for it as Michael Smith lays him out. at the 47 yard line.

8:04 p.m. — Troy may have made a mistake in leaving 37 seconds on the board for Arkansas at the end of this half.

8:03 p.m. — Brown lobs for the right corner and almost gets intercepted. Troy will go for the field goal with 42 seconds left. A 30-yard attempt, good; Arkansas 28, Troy 10.

8:01 p.m. — Brown smacked by a powerful rush; 3rd and 10 with 48 seconds left. Brown looks to sideline, huge roar, Troy elects to take their second time out. Troy is working into the north endzone, so faces the wrap-around sound.

8:00 p.m. — Brown goes underneath to Harris to the Razorback 13 yard line on the 22 yard gain; incomplete on 1st down.

7:59 p.m. — Brown working from its own 35 gets three on first down; only 72 seconds to work with. Reeves gets next reception for first down and will get benefit of extra 15 yards on late hit.

7:58 p.m. — Mallett now has record for most yardage in a single season with 2,667 yards

7:57 p.m. — And the last 14 to Childs on the roll out that caught Troy flat footed from Mallett, PAT is good, Arkansas 28, Troy 7

7:55 p.m. — Here’s the thing about D.J. Williams. You better get more than a foot. He’s caught for yardage short of the first down and by sheer will gets the first at the 14.

7:54 p.m. — Troy brings the house, Mallett check off and makes the Trojans pay with a 20 yard pass to Adams to the Troy 25.

7:53 p.m. — Ball bounces off Troy receiver and Franklin picks it out of the air for the second INT of the night for Brown, that one not his fault

7:52 p.m. — Into the near flat for only 3, almost batted down by three-man rush.

7:50 p.m. — Wingo breaks to the right side for the next 17 and just like that, it’s 21-7 Razorbacks.

7:48 p.m. — Mallett changes the play with a double pull-down motion — like a trucker yanking on the horn; Williams pulls it in for a long gain to the 17.

7:47 p.m. — Ronnie Wingo, Jr., gets the first down and then some to the Troy 38, 13 yards on the carry.

7:47 p.m. — Mallett draws the aggressive Troy rush in, dumps to Williams and he makes it a seven yard run.

7:47 p.m. — Yeah, I think Johnson got that career record for kickoff returns now, 37 on the return to the Arkansas 42

7:44 p.m. — After only 29 yards on first three drives, Troy goes 69 yards on 10 plays for its first score; TV timeout

7:42 p.m. — Chip Reeves takes the short 3 yard pass for the TD, PAT is good and Troy makes it 14-7 with 5:49 left in 2nd.

7:42 p.m. — Southward up the middle and not so much; in fact, lost part of a yard; 3rd down

7:42 p.m. — More pressure, another safety throw away

7:41 p.m. — Razorbacks off sides, half the distance; repeat 1st down.

7:40 p.m. — Ruling on the field stands; 1st and goal at six and crowd gets loud; flags and Brown throws it away under pressure.

7:39 p.m. — Spa City Razorback Club is sponsoring the Burl’s Kids tonight from Hot Springs.

7:38 p.m. — Catch to the Arkansas six, Trojans in Red Zone for first time tonight. And that play will be under review.

7:36 p.m. — Brown gets the penalty back with a first down to the Razorback 25; player down for Arkansas.Norton is down.

7:35 p.m. — Escapes pressure for eight for 2nd and 2; Southward find a gap for TDFlag on the play, and this looks like it may be coming back; indeed, holding on Troy

7:33 p.m. — Brown throws complete for six for only the third first down of the night for Troy. Warming up down as the Troy QB goes over the middle to the Hogs 34.

7:32 p.m. –Brown keeps for a nine yard gain, Harris gets a radar lock on him and Brown widely chooses to slide rather than go for the first down.

7:30 p.m. — Punt is a boomer that results in a fair catch for the Trojans at their own 31. Kudos to whoever is call in the defense in Willy’s absence. Troy begins its fourth possession of the night with all of 29 total yards, we are in a TV timeout; remember next week is 11:21 w/MSU.

7:29 p.m. — Mallett sacked hard, gets up limping. 12 yards loss and holding on Razorbacks is declined to bring up 4th and 22.

7:29 p.m. — Mallett has broken the record with 135 consecutive passes without an interception, breaking Stoerner; longest active in nation.

7:27 p.m. — Mallett complete to Saulters across the middle for the first down to the 44.

4:50 p.m. — Defensive coordinator Willy Robinson will not coach tonight. He is being treated for an infection; media release to follow

4:20 p.m. — We anticipate an announcement on Willy Robinson in about 10-15 minutes.

3:19 p.m. — This just in, Rotnei Clark scored again. Kidding, but it seemed that way last night as Clarke shattered the UA single-game scoring record — male or female — with 51 against Alcorn State. John Pelphrey’s team is headed out of town this weekend for the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in St. Louis on Tuesday night. It will be on ESPN. 3:18 p.m. — Traffic has turned around the stadium to game mode, and the tailgate areas are starting to fill. This might be non-conference, but it has a SEC weekend feel among the fans.
