CBS exercises six-day option

FAYETTEVILLE – CBS has exercised its six-day option for games on Saturday, Oct. 16, including No. 11 Arkansas at No. 8 Auburn.

Other games under consideration for the 2:30 p.m. kickoff are Mississippi State at No. 14 Florida and No. 19 South Carolina at Kentucky. CBS’s decision will come no later than Monday, Oct. 11.

The two games not selected by CBS, as well as Ole Miss at No. 1 Alabama, will be shown on ESPN2 or ESPNU. ESPN2 is showing games at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., while the ESPNU game begins at 6 p.m.

Arkansas returns to action Saturday against Texas A&M in the second annual Southwest Classic. The Razorbacks and Aggies are set for a 2:30 p.m. start from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. ABC will carry the broadcast.

Tickets for the Southwest Classic are still available and can be purchased online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com or by calling 800-982-HOGS before the end of business Thursday. Online sales will remain open until midnight.
