Christopherson Earns SEC Weekly Award During Season Finale

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas soccer’s Reece Christopherson was named SEC Freshman of the Week Friday after the Razorbacks’ 3-1 season finale win over Alabama.

Christopherson, a freshman midfielder from Overland Park, Kan., recorded the primary assists on the Razorbacks’ first two goals against the Crimson Tide on Oct. 29. She played 87 minutes, her second-highest mark of the season.

Christopherson finished the season fourth on the Razorbacks in points (7), tied for fourth in goals (2) and tied for second in assists (3). She scored on two of her eight attempted shots, including on two of her three attempted shots on goal.
