TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Razorbacks trail Alabama 39-16 behind shooting a mere 17 percent from the field in the first half.
Freshman Bobby Portis leads the Razorbacks with eight points on 2-of-4 from the field. Three other Razorbacks have combined for the other eight points, a season low first half score. Sophomore Michael Qualls has been a strong presence around the rim, grabbing four rebounds including two off the offensive glass.
Arkansas’ troubles extended past cold-shooting, where Alabama is dominating with a 57 percent clip from the field. Their 12 turnovers are a first half season-high and find themselves in a 25-11 deficit on the boards.
