Cox Sports TV Announces Programming Agreement with UA

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Arkansas and Cox Sports Television announced an extensive programming agreement today, whereby the sports network will televise a minimum of seven Razorback sporting events, produce a new monthly magazine show and re-air all weekly coach’s shows on its 24-hour regional sports network.

Cox Sports Television begins its productions of Arkansas events this Thursday night at 7 p.m. (Central Standard Time) when Head Coach Susie Gardner and her Lady Razorback basketball team takes on Nicholls State in Hot Springs, Ark. Blair Cartwright and Rusty Jackson will handle the announcing duties for CST. Additionally, CST will televise Razorback Baseball, Gymnastics and Track and Field.

The new monthly magazine show, “Hog Tales” is hosted by Mike Nail and Cartwright and features in depth interviews and profiles on Razorback athletes, coaches and University officials. The thirty minute show offers Arkansas fans great insight into the many facets of Razorback Athletics.

CST will re-air Arkansas weekly coach’s shows throughout the year. These shows include, The Houston Nutt Show, Fast Break with Stan Heath and Lady Razorback TV. CST will also broadcast special summer encores of Razorback events and Classic Encores.
