FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas cross country teams have announced a date and time change for the season-opening Razorback Invitational. The scheduled dual meet with Missouri Southern will now be run this Thursday with the women’s race beginning at 5:30 p.m. (CT) and the men following at 6 p.m. The Razorback Invitational, like all Arkansas home meets, will be contested at Agri Park. In addition to the season-opening dual meet Thursday, Arkansas’ home meets this season include the 24th Annual Chile Pepper Festival on Oct. 13 and the 2012 NCAA South Central Regional Championship which will be run Nov. 9 on the Razorbacks’ home course. The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) will release its preseason national poll this week in advance of the start of the 2012 cross country season.
