Eight Games Televised During 2017 Season

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – As part of the sport’s growing exposure, the University of Arkansas softball team is scheduled to make eight television appearances this season as announced by the Southeastern Conference Thursday morning. Four of the Razorbacks’ television games will originate live from Bogle Park.

Overall, more than 70 league softball games will be aired across the ESPN family of networks including All Softball Weekend and Bases Loaded coverage on the SEC Network. Along with additional school-produced events, television broadcasts will also be available on WatchESPN.

The Razorbacks’ 2017 campaign begins Feb. 11-12 at the North Texas Invitational in Denton, Texas, while the team’s home opener is slated for March 3 with day one of the Wooo Pig Classic. Arkansas is set to face 15 opponents that played in last year’s NCAA Tournament including three team’s that advanced to the Women’s College World Series. Admission for home games at Bogle Park is free for all fans this season.
