FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — University of Arkansas basketball fans will have an opportunity to watch at least 27 of Arkansas’ 31 regular season games on television this season as eight non-conference games were added to the regional and national television lineup. In addition to the television games, the Razorbacks’ Southeastern Conference opener at Texas A&M was moved to Wednesday, Jan. 9, and Arkansas will host a Red-White game on Tuesday, Oct. 30. ESPN2 has picked up Arkansas’ game with Oklahoma on Tuesday, Dec. 4, giving the Razorbacks 11 contests on the ESPN family of networks (EPSN, ESPN2, ESPNU). The 11 ESPN games are the most for the Razorbacks since the SEC began its television package with the network. Arkansas’ contest with Michigan, slated for Saturday, December 8, will be a CBS broadcast giving Arkansas two games on that network. The game in Ann Arbor, Mich., will be an 11 a.m. central tip. The Razorback Sports Network has picked up six Arkansas games between late November and early January. RSN’s first broadcast will originate from Bud Walton Arena on Tuesday, Nov. 20 when the Razorbacks play Florida A&M. RSN will then air five straight Arkansas games from Saturday, Dec. 15 to Saturday, Jan. 5. Included in that lineup are games against Alcorn State, Robert Morris, Alabama A&M, Northwestern State and Delaware State. In addition to Arkansas’ current 27-game television lineup could be the championship game of the Las Vegas Invitational on Nov. 24. An Arkansas victory over Arizona State the day before could put the Razorbacks on ESPN2. Fans unable to get to a television may also watch Arkansas on the internet. A total of 30 exhibition and regular season games will be carried live on the internet beginning with the Southwest Baptist contest on Friday, Nov. 2.
