ESPNU All Access: Arkansas Baseball debutsThursday

FAYETTEVILLE – ESPNU All Access: Arkansas Baseball, a 30-minute program that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the Razorback baseball program debuts on Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. on ESPNU.

The ESPN crew was provided with significant access to the Arkansas baseball team during the three days of filming, leading up to and during the home series vs. Mississippi State. The film crew followed Arkansas head coach Dave Van Horn and various student-athletes to provide fans a look at a typical day for a Razorback coach and student-athlete.

Along with an off the field look at the Razorback baseball program, Coach Van Horn wore a microphone during Thursday’s practice leading up to the series with Mississippi State and was also mic’d up during the series opener against the Bulldogs, which Arkansas won 6-5.

ESPNU filmed similar All-Access shows with Alabama football and Duke basketball. The special featuring the Arkansas baseball team is expected to be the only All-Access special featuring a college baseball team during the 2011 season.
