Estes-Taylor signs Monssoh

FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas head women’s golf coach Shauna Estes-Taylor announced the signing of Audrey Monssoh to a National Letter of Intent.

"We are very excited about signing Audreyto our team," said Estes-Taylor. "We have watched her for a couple of years now and feel she fits the mold of the kind of young lady and golfer that we love to bring to our family."

Originally a native of Neuilly Sur Seine, France, France, Monssoh will complete her prep studies at Montverde Academy and leaves school for the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy for her golf studies in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.

Monssoh picked up her first International Junior Golf Tour win in 2009 and posted top five finishes at the Eagle Creek Open and Mission Inn-El Campeon Open as a junior. She was in the hunt at the Plantation Inn Open and Mission Inn Challenge as well. Monssoh also finished eighth at the French Women’s Amateur and won the FCWT Mission Inn Challenge in 2010.

Born May, 18, 1993, Monssoh is the daughter of Florent and Marie-Claire Monssoh and has a brother, Brice.

"AudreyMonssoh is a complete athlete," said Estes-Taylor. "She has the perfect build for a golfer and has a ton of talent. She is a good ball striker and on an off day can muster up a way to get the ball in the hole. I can’t wait to get Audrey here so that we can get her into our system and equip her with the tools to take advantage of her strengths. She is a great player and her future is bright as a Razorback."

The Razorbacks recently completed the fourth of four fall events. They return to the competition course in February. For more information about Arkansas women’s’ golf log on to ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
