Fact Sheet 2

Up Next:

After beginning the season at 2-0 with a perfect road trip to Utah, Arkansas will enjoy some home cooking in the upcoming week as they gear up to host Missouri on Saturday, Jan. 26th. The match is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the newly reconstructed Dills Indoor Tennis Facility.

The Hegarty Take:

Here is what Michael Hegarty had to say about his team’s performance against BYU and Utah in high altitude conditions:

"We made great strides this weekend, and I believe the results of the two matches help prove that. Picking up two wins against great regional opponents on the road and at altitude will definitely serve us well in upcoming matches."

Cruising Canadian:

Senior Audrey Bordeleau started her last season as a Lady Razorback on a great note. Audrey won doubles and singles in both matches finishing a perfect 4-0 on the weekend, the only Arkansas player to do so.

A First for the Freshman:

January freshman Anouk Tigu was on the team a mere five days before picking up her first victory as a Lady’Back. Her first win came in doubles as she and Bordeleau defeated BYU’s Elizaveta Ezhova and Chie Hayasaka, 8-3. Tigu earned her first singles victory moments later with a, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, comeback over Hayasaka.
