Film Festival, Senior Day Highlight Promotions

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In closing out its home schedule, the University of Arkansas softball team returns to Bogle Park to host Georgia beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m. This weekend’s fan promotions feature Bentonville Film Festival activities, Senior Day and giveaways. General admission is free for all home games at Bogle Park with gates opening one hour prior to first pitch.

Friday, May 5 – 6:30 p.m.
• One student in attendance will win a $750 Visa gift card courtesy of ASG
• First 100 fans in attendance will receive a Bentonville Film Festival t-shirt
• First 100 fans in attendance will receive an autograph Geena Davis softball
• Academy Award winner Geena Davis will throw out the first pitch
• ‘A League of Their Own’ will be shown on the Bogle Park videoboard following the game

Saturday, May 6 – 1 p.m.
• First 75 fans in attendance will receive an Arkansas Razorbacks trucker hat

Sunday, May 7 – 1 p.m.
• Senior Day – be early to help the Razorbacks honor their seniors with a pre-game ceremony

Arkansas (30-19) enters its series against Georgia after splitting a doubleheader at Notre Dame in South Bend. With three home runs during the two games, the Razorbacks are up to an SEC-leading 52 home runs this year. Nicole Schroeder and Tori Cooper are the first Arkansas teammates with at least 10 home runs each since the 2012 season, while Autumn Storms became the third freshman in program history to reach 15 wins and first since 2001.
