Series vs Tulsa
Tuesday’s game is the 31st meeting in the series between Arkansas and Tulsa, and the second of the season. Five of the Razorbacks’ 13 wins in the series have come in Fayetteville but the team is looking for its first home win against Tulsa since 2005. Overall, the Golden Hurricane owns a 17-13 advantage in the all-time series.

Last Time Out
The Razorbacks hit three home runs and freshman Caroline Hedgcock picked up the first win of her career in Sunday’s 4-2 triumph at No. 25 Missouri to clinch the series win. A.J. Belans and Madison Yannetti each homered—two for Belans—in the game, and Autumn Russell tallied her 12th multi-hit performance. Arkansas has hit three or more home runs in six games this season.

First Start, First Hit
In her first start of the season, Loren Krzysko delivered the game-winning, two-run single in the top of the seventh at No. 25 Missouri. The base knock was Krzysko’s first hit of the season, and sent the Razorbacks to the 6-5 victory. Arkansas trailed 5-3 entering the seventh inning.

Hedgcock in Relief
Freshman Caroline Hedgcock logged 12.2 innings of work in three relief appearances last week at ninth-ranked Oklahoma and No. 25 Missouri. She capped the week with a 4.2-inning outing in the series finale at Missouri, a performance in which she didn’t allow a hit or a walk. Hedgcock pitched a career-high 5.0 innings at Oklahoma, allowing one run on three hits.

RPI Check
Arkansas holds steady at No. 27 in the April 10 release of the NCAA Softball RPI. All 13 teams in the conference are within the top 36. This week’s opponents, Tulsa and Texas A&M, are ranked 30th and fourth, respectively, in the weekly ranking.
