FAYETTEVILLE — There are five former University of Arkansas men’s track and field letterman that will be representing their home countries and competing in the IAAF World Championships in Moscow, Rus. The meet is scheduled to take place from Saturday, Aug. 10 through Sunday Aug. 18. The list of Razorbacks in Moscow includes former standouts Jeremy Scott, Leoman Momoh, Akheem Gauntlett, Wallace Spearmon and Shawn Forrest.
Two former Razorbacks will be representing the United States of America in Spearmon and Scott. Spearmon is scheduled to compete in the 200 meters. Scott will represent the U.S.A. in the pole vault.
Momoh, a native of Nigeria, will be representing his home country in the 800 meters.
Gauntlett will represent Jamaica in the country’s 4x400m relay team.
Forrest will round up the former Razorbacks competing in Moscow when he will run in the marathon representing his home country of Australia.
