Football honored by Blue Ribbon

Two members of the Arkansas football team were selected for honors for the 2010 Blue Ribbon College Football Yearbook, which featured Razorback quarterback Ryan Mallett on the cover. The yearbook, which is edited by Chris Dortch, released its top 25 poll and had the Razorbacks listed at No. 20. Mallett was also selected as the National Offensive Player of the Year and was listed as first-team All-America. UA tight end D.J. Williams was also selected as a first-team All-American. Mallett set or tied 16 different school records in 2009. His 32 touchdowns responsible for and his 30 career touchdown passes rank as the highest total by an active SEC player entering the 2010 season. Williams enters 2010 as Arkansas’ active leader in career receptions (98), receiving yards (1,228) and games played (38).
