Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010With the University of Arkansas’ football team continuing its postseason preparations, honors and accolades have been handed out for the completion of the 2010 regular season. On Rivals.com’s Freshman All-America team, the Razorbacks are represented well. Offensive linemen Alvin Bailey (OG) and Travis Swanson (C) are listed in the website’s first team offensive unit.
Bailey and Swanson have been pivotal members of an Arkansas offensive line that paved the way for the first season in school history with a 3,000-yard passer (Ryan Mallett)and a 1,000-yard rusher (Knile Davis). UA leads the SEC and ranks third in the NCAA in passing offense, averaging 338.4 yards per game. The Razorbacks are 10th in the NCAA in total offense withan average of489.3 yards-per-game.

Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010The Razorbacks (10-2, 6-2, SEC)are heading to the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans in the school’s first BCS appearance.Anticipation is high for the matchup against Ohio State, which finished its season with an 11-1 record.
