Four Razorback Netters Named to SEC Honor Roll
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Four Arkansas Razorback tennis players have been named to the 2005 Southeastern Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. Imraan Ismail, Andrei Nicoara, Talley Parker and Matt Roberts all qualified for the list.

Roberts, a junior from Little Rock, was the team leader in wins, going 26-10 this year for the Hogs.

Ismail and Parker are seniors. Parker, from Rogers, was named to the SEC’s Good Works Team. Ismail, from Harare, Zimbabwe, teamed with Roberts to win the ITA Region V doubles championship.

Nicoara, a sophomore from Woodbridge, Ontario, won a pair of matches at both the RazorRacket and Navy invitationals.

To be eligible for the 2005 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must complete the following: 1) obtain a 3.0 grade point average for either the past year or for their career; 2) be a sophomore or higher in academic classification; and 3) have 24 semester hours countable toward a degree. The 2005 honor roll is based on grades from the 2003-04 academic calendar.
