FAYETTEVILLE — Four members of the University of Arkansas men’s tennis team will compete at the Navy National All-Conference Invitational hosted by the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. The tournament will begin Friday and run through the weekend.
Senior Christian Lee will be joined by freshmen Jacob Herndon, Juan Marino and Johan den Toom this weekend, where the team will combine with Penn State’s student-athletes to field a full team. The Razorbacks will compete in both singles and doubles flights. Arkansas will compete at 2, 4, 6, 8 singles and 2, 4 doubles.
“We are excited to go to this exciting event,” head coach Andy Jackson said. “It’s a great opportunity for us to build on last week’s start and improve.”
In their first collegiate competition, Herndon and den Toom both advanced to the third round of the consolation bracket at the SEC Fall Classic last weekend.
The Razorbacks will open the tournament against Navy at 1 p.m. Friday.
