Gameday Fan Reminders For Arkansas-Troy Game

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas opens the 2007 football season on Saturday against Troy University at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m.

Fans attending the game should plan on arriving at the stadium early due to the anticipated large crowd. In addition, fans are reminded that:

Traffic:

Game Day traffic around the perimeter of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium from Sixth Street to Cleveland will be limited to
authorized parking permit holders only beginning three hours prior to kickoff.

Shuttle:

Public shuttle busses begin running from Baum Stadium and the adjacent parking lots at 2 p.m. Shuttle busses will drop fans off at Gate 1 at the southwest corner of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Shuttle busses will pick up fans at Gate 1 following the game. No shuttle service is provided between kickoff and the end of the game. For non-medical emergencies or hardship situations during the game, fans may go to gate 16 (southeast corner of the stadium) and request shuttle service back to the south parking lots located at Baum Stadium.

Parking:

Please be alerted that University and law enforcement officials will be monitoring and checking the authenticity of parking passes. Counterfeiting of parking passes is strictly prohibited. Scholarship parking passes entitle one vehicle to one parking space in the designated lot. No tents, canopies and cookers will be allowed to occupy parking spaces (even if they have a parking pass). Tents, canopies and cookers will not be allowed to block driving lanes. For safety purposes, please do not stand or sit in driving lanes and refrain from throwing footballs, Frisbees or other objects within parking lots. Public handicap parking is located at Baum Stadium.

Tickets:

ALL fans must have a ticket regardless of age. This policy includes infants. Will Call window at Gate 1 opens at 2 p.m. Gates open at 3 p.m. (3 hours before kick-off) East upper deck (sect. 510) tickets are available through the UA Ticket Office for the Arkansas-Troy Game.

Stadium Policies:

Smoking is prohibited in all areas of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. No fans will be allowed to return into the stadium after exiting the stadium. Lost and Found Centers are located at Gates 1, 13 and Gate 16; all lost games will be turned in to Gate 16 following the game, you can check on lost items by calling: 479-718-1809. The following items
ARE NOT permitted in the stadium: alcoholic beverages, bottles, cans, thermoses, ice bags, ice chests, laser pointers,
UMBRELLAs, noise makers (bells, horns, whistles), video cameras, containers,
BACKPACKS, coolers and strollers. All prohibited items must be returned to vehicles or tailgate areas, checking prohibited items will no longer be allowed at any guest services centers at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Weekend Activities

Pep rally Friday 8 p.m. at the Greek Theatre Greet the Team – 4 p.m. Saturday on the Poultry Science lawn and the Broyles Center (lot 44) parking lot. Trough Pep Rally on the Poultry Science lawn at 4:15 p.m.

Tailgating:

The Gardens is a new location available for tailgating. Located just south of Bud Walton Arena along Razorback Road, The Gardens has a limited number of reserved tailgating spots for rent still available by calling 479-575-4412.
In addition, non-reserved tailgating spaces for fans in a large grass area are available on a first-come-first-served basis at NO cost.
Access to The Gardens is located at Razorback Road just inside lot 56 south and north of Leroy Pond Road.
